Raye Hadi
President
Raye is a fourth-year student majoring in economics and minoring in computer science. Raye was introduced to blockchain and cryptocurrency in 2017 after reading the Bitcoin Standard. During the crypto wave of 2021 he got more involved, reading whitepapers, investing in tokens, and exploring defi applications. This interest prompted Raye to start the blockchain club at Virginia before the end of his third year. Some of Raye’s hobbies include working out, soccer, and hiking.

Austin Freimuth
Vice President
Austin is a current fourth-year studying Commerce. After being introduced to blockchain by a friend, Austin started doing research to understand it better and hasn't looked back since. His primary research interests include DAOs, self-sovereignty, and the convergence of AI and blockchain technologies. His hobbies are reading, working out, and hiking.

Yash Kolli
Co-Head of Software & Development
Yash is a fourth-year student studying computer science in the engineering school. During the crypto wave in 2021, Yash became interested in the world of blockchain, starting out by investing small amounts of money into tokens. Eventually, Yash dove deeper into blockchain tech, learning Solidity, Rust, etc. Yash recently just finished up a SWE internship at Coinbase. His hobbies include working out, watching sports, and playing poker.

Matthew Krill
Investment Fund Director
Matthew is a third year studying commerce, with concentrations in finance and computer science. He got into crypto as a growth prodcut manager at the blockchain service company, Nifty Bridge. Matthew's interests consist of trading strategies and deploying capital to a wide array of digital assets. His hobbies include participating in conferences and weight-lifting.

Rohan Suri
Co-Head of Software & Development
Rohan is a 3rd year pursuing a major in computer science and a minor in technology entrepreneurship. He first got introduced to blockchain and cryptocurrencies during the 2017 bull run and has been fascinated by the technology behind it ever since. Last summer Rohan interned at General Dynamics Information Technology, and outside of Blockchain at UVA, Rohan is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity.

Zachary Campbell
Head of Research
Zach is a second-year in the College of Arts and Sciences double majoring in Economics and Statistics. He first became interested in cryptocurrency in high school after working with a Berlin-based venture capitalist on methods of risk-minimalization for crypto holdings. In his free time, you can find Zach cycling around Grounds, playing pickup basketball or reading in front of the Rotunda.
