Co-Head of Incubator
Akhil is a rising fourth-year majoring in computer science leading the incubator program alongside his startup co-founder Karthik. His journey into entrepreneurship began two years ago with an app designed for buying and selling meal exchanges, where he encountered the expensive limitations of traditional payment gateways. The concept of programmable money, such as USDC, propelled Akhil and Karthik into the Web3 space starting with a venture funded by the Darden i.Lab incubator for merchants to easily accept USDC payments. Last summer, he worked at Anchorage Digital (the only U.S. Federally chartered crypto bank) and got an inside look to how major institutions & sovereign wealth funds are flocking to crypto. We are on the cusp of a new financial & digital age. Let's build it together.
